This is us. In September. Autumn light and an iPhone. I can't quite remember why I laughed. I love him.

My little challenge for you today. Find a photo and try and tell its story in just twenty words. Suddenly twenty words aren't very many and each one takes on a bit more importance!
Ernest Hemingway was challenged to tell a story in six words. I think yours could be too: "This is us. I love him!"
ReplyDeleteGreat picture.
I love this! Simple and brilliant :)
ReplyDeleteCute pic - I have joined in over on my blog.

What a fantastic idea, Abi. And I love your photo and words today!
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely, but it sounds so difficult... I love how you've done it.
ReplyDeleteI will have a go, but I'm not sure I can promise to post the results!
This is great! It makes me think of a great book I read a few years ago: Six Word Memoirs. Some of them were powerful!
ReplyDeleteLots of fun Abi - I had a go too ... but, predictably, was over the limit ... just!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet photo and a great idea. I'd be hopeless! I usually run over on Twitter and you get many more words there!
ReplyDeleteLove both your photo and your words.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun idea and I love what you've done with it.
ReplyDeleteYou can see my attempt here: http://suburbansahm.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/one-photo-twenty-words.html
Lovely! I like your picture, I like your plan
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, I've joined in :-)
ReplyDeleteA fun challenge! And not as easy as you would think!
ReplyDeleteThis is a brilliant idea Abi, I love it. That photo of you and the boy is fab! I might have to have a go myself...
ReplyDeleteThis picture makes my heart happy :) Very well done with the story. I accepted the challenge and admit to having to change my wording twice, once I was at 19 then at 21 @@ http://beglorious.blogspot.com/2013/09/a-story-in-20.html
ReplyDeleteI agree with Barbara! Yours could have been six. I'll work on this for tomorrow.

What a sweet story and photo. Your 20 word idea worked great for my blog post this a.m. Although mine is more of a moral than a story.
