arty loveliness and a sneak preview..

Happy thursday!
I am in a very happy mood because I didn't have hockey today. Yes I was a good girl and got my work finished! That means I can now do this in prep (secretly!) Actually very funny story, my teacher just came in and I blagged my way through saying this was a site where I got my pictures for photography! Lol! He is around 60 and teaches chemistry ( not that there is anything wrong with this!) so I think I am pretty safe!
speaking of photography, I am looking at a new artist and am completly taken by her work...
The above are selections of Alice in Wonderland that she illustrated.

now doesn't this just appeal to your inner artyness?? It is so beautiful and ambiguous. Hopefully I am going to use some of her work and illustrate my own photographs. Please go check out more of her work because honestly it is so lovely I would love to put it all on here! www.alicefletcher.co.uk

The sneaky preview... A few posts ago I showed a picture of paper flower that I made.. The instructions are coming at the weekend but in the mean time...

You will need. Plenty of this: and several of these:

Anyway. Bed Time now. I have had a shattering week and Friday is always my worst day just because of the crazy number of things I have going on!

Thanks for reading

Loves xxxxx

What an amazing artist, I've never seen her work before but I will definitely check that link out.
As a school secretary I guess I ought to tell you off for sneaking onto scrapbooking sites when you should be working but ssshhh, don't tell anyone, I do it too when all is quiet in the exams office!

Ooh, the Paper Flowers! I can't wait!

I think I will post you some links, to a couple of Etsy artists that I love. You may like them too...

http://www.etsy.com/shop/gingerlillytea - Keri-Anne's photos are fairy-tale like and dreamy

http://www.etsy.com/shop/HidenSeek - her paintings are like children's book illustrations and all tell a story

http://www.etsy.com/shop/Sascalia - colourful, whimsical, detailed, exciting...

Take a look - you may find something to add to your Christmas wishlist!

Yay! craftig! Love it... I wonder how to get my stuff featured - research required.

I am glad you love the photography... I have a secret confession - she is my dear Niece, Keri-Anne Pink. We are all very proud of her, as she taught herself photography from scratch. She has worked so hard and is doing very well. She's been featured in several online magazines, has a flickr account, a facebook page and has just published a lovely book (on blurb). I love her photographs and have bought myself some for our new bedroom. (I also bought her book, yeah!)
She's 23 and started photography only 5 years ago. You've got a 2-year start on her, so who knows where you could go? She'd be glad to talk to you - I can point her to your blog if you like - she's very nice and likes to talk to people that enjoy photography too.

Back again... Keri-Anne does have a blog. Find it here http://gingerlillytea.blogspot.com/ or via the link from my blog (r/h side). She links from there to all her other web places.

Looking forward to the paper flowers...and the 17 thing - Choo choo!
